For the past 15 years, Ellen has been working in cultural policy advocacy, particularly in regards to its relationship with creative economy practice. Ellen chose to work within this field in order to explore the economic potential of arts and culture, enabling art practitioners to utilize market forces for their artistic sustainability. In 2017, Ellen was involved in the founding of Peretas.
