Craft artist and founder of Kait Handmade, a small studio promoting exploration, diversity, continuity, sustainability, and eco-friendliness. Lusiana believes that women are the future of humankind and that everything is intertwined. Lusiana co-founded MaPaQuilts, a patchwork community in Malang that regularly hosts weekly gatherings to provide a space for diversity and sisterhood through patchwork and hand sewing toward empowerment. Moreover, Lusianainitiated Forum Kriya Kontemporer Indonesia (Indonesian Contemporary Craft Forum), a collective of crafts alumni and practitioners, aiming for a more active participation in the urban community. In 2018 and 2019, Lusiana was involved in Seniman Mengajar (literal translation: Artists Teach), a program by the Ministry of Education and Culture, while conducting research and documentation on tenun (woven fabric) art in Lembata and Southwest Sumba, NTT.
